The Business Internet Cap $79 with Unlimited Voicemail or Unlimited SMS (the Plan) is only available for new or eligible existing business customers, as defined by Optus, who apply to connect to the Optus Mobile Digital service, and pass the Optus credit assessment and who are accepted by Optus. Optus Pre-Paid, MobileSat, service provider customers or Corporate customers are not eligible
Term: The Plan is available as a 24 month plan.
If you have committed to the Plan with a 24 month term, the minimum total cost is $1659 plus the cost of your handset, if any.
If you choose a month to month plan and your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch carriers, you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your handset, if any. If you choose a 12 or 24 month plan, and your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch carriers within your plan term, you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your handset, if any, plus the following "Termination Fee".
Termination Fee: For a 24 month plan: $750 for terminations between months 1 – 12 and for terminations between months 13-15, 80% of the Initial Termination Fee of $750; for terminations between months 16-18, 60% of the Initial Termination Fee; for terminations between months 19-21, 40% of the Initial Termination Fee and for terminations between months 22-24, 20% of the Initial Termination Fee.
On the Plan you will pay the first $79 worth of standard National Voice and Video Calls (excluding calls to national fixed or GSM mobile services that then divert/switch or re-route overseas), Standard National and International SMS, Standard National MMS, Push to Talk (PTT), Voicemail deposits, retrievals and diversions, 1800, 13 and 1300 numbers, with compatible handsets after which these services are free up to a maximum of $550 per billing period. You will pay a minimum amount of $79 per month even if you do not make $79 worth of calls. For a part month, you will pay only part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only part of the Cap amount. If you exceed the $550 of these services in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply. Any unused Cap amount cannot be rolled over.
Included Value: The Plan includes standard National Voice and Video Calls (excluding calls to national fixed or GSM mobile services that then divert/switch or re-route overseas), Standard National and International SMS, Standard National MMS, PTT, Voicemail deposits, retrievals and diversions, 1800, 13 and 1300 numbers, with compatible handsets. The Plan also includes 700MB of data per month to access services on Optus Zoo, as well as browsing the Internet from your mobile. If you exceed your plan’s included monthly data allowance, excess usage will be charged at $0.35 per MB or part thereof. Any unused data allowance cannot be rolled over. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024kb = 1MB and includes both uploads and downloads.
Exclusions: The Plan included value excludes International Voice and Video Calls (including calls to national fixed or GSM mobile services that then divert/switch or re-route overseas), International Roaming and Diversions, International Data Roaming, 124YES(937), Surepage access and usage, calls to Satellite, TrueLocal usage, Instant Messenger (IM), International MMS, Premium SMS and MMS, Video Conferencing, Content Video, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content packs, 966* Zoo, Directory Assistance, VOIP services and usage, Operator Assistance and 19XX services. Normal charges apply for these calls and services as they are not part of the included value.
Upon connection to the Plan, customers can choose 1 of the following 2 offers: Unlimited SMS offer or Unlimited VoiceMail offer; and 1 of the following 2 calling options: BusinessTime or Smart Fleet. Unlimited SMS Offer: is only applicable for standard SMS sent and received within Australia. Offer excludes International and Premium SMS. The unlimited SMS offer only applies to standard personal/business SMS. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies.
Unlimited VoiceMail offer: applicable to VoiceMail deposits and retrievals. Diversion charges still apply. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies.
BusinessTime: 1. Upon request you may choose to set up a BusinessTime (BT) service. 2. Only 3 BT services per Business Internet Cap service can be nominated unless you combine your Business Internet Cap service with Optus Business Phone and/or DSL in which case you can nominate 5 numbers. 3. The nominated numbers must be eligible Optus GSM mobile(s) and/or fixed line(s), as defined by Optus and cannot be a 13, 1300, 1800 or 19XX numbers. 4. Calls must be made and received within Australia. 5. After the first 5 minutes of each call standard call rates apply. 6. You may change your nominated numbers no more than once per month. 7. Allow up to 48 hours for activation or changes to your BT service. 8. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies for BusinessTime usage and currently allows up to 1000 minutes per month.
SmartFleet: If you choose this option you get free calls, Standard SMS and MMS 24/7 to other mobiles on your Optus business account. 1. Applies to calls and Standard SMS and MMS made and received within Australia to another mobile number on the same customer account number, no flagfall applies. 2. Some exclusions apply, including calls to Optus Pre-Paid, Satellite, service provider customers, Video and International calls, Premium and Third Party SMS and MMS. 3. Optus Mobile Fair Go™ Policy applies for SmartFleet usage and currently allows up to 1,000 minutes and 1,000 SMS or MMS per month. If no offer or calling option is chosen then standard call rates will apply for all call types mentioned in these offers and calling options.
SMS & MMS: Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date and will be charged whether delivery is successful or not. National SMS are charged at 25c per message, International SMS are charged at 50c per message, National MMS are charged at 50c per message and International MMS are charged at 75c per message.
'yes' International Calling: 1. Special promotions valid until 31/06/2009 unless withdrawn earlier. 2. Optus reserve the right to withhold the promotions from any customer using Optus services in a manner deemed unreasonable or excessive by Optus. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy currently considers 'excessive' to be usage more than 300 minutes per month per mobile. Flagfall per call applies. 3. These offers do not include Satellite destinations. Airtime surcharges apply to calls from MobileSat, Inmarsat, Iridium and Thuraya services. 4. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
Optus 3G: Use of Optus 3G Service is only available with 3G compatible handsets and devices, an Optus 3G SIM card and you must be in a Optus 3G coverage area. References to Optus 3G network, compatible handsets or wireless broadband devices refer to 3G 2100 MHz network and devices. To access the 3G network you must be within the Optus 3G 2100MHz coverage area. Outside these areas, service will fall back to our Optus GSM/GPRS network. 3G handsets and devices will not provide you with access to 3G services in Optus ‘yes’G service areas where a dual band (2100/900 MHz) handset is required. The mobile data included in the Plan is supplied in accordance with the terms of the Standard Form of Agreement. You must comply with these terms including our Acceptable Use Policy and Mobile Fair Go™ Policy when using the service. The service provides a connection to the Internet via the Optus Mobile 3G or ‘yes’ G and GSM networks. The service is only available to customers within the Optus 3G or ‘yes’ G or GSM coverage area and is subject to network availability, refer to www.optus.com.au/coverage. You need to have 2.5G or 3G network compatible mobile phone which is provisioned with the required settings and SIM card to activate data use.
Rate Plan Change: After the first 6 months of your contract, once a month you may change to another Optus Mobile Rate Plan with a lower monthly access fee at Optus' discretion for the remaining term of your contract. We may charge you a fee if you move from one pricing plan to another before the end of your minimum term. The amount of the fee will depend on various factors, including the terms of your current pricing plan, your call spend under your current pricing plan and the terms of the new pricing plan you are moving to. You should contact customer service for further information on the fee that may apply in your case. If you select a new rate plan,any calls made from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new rate plan and any mobile data used from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new rate plan.
Change of Ownership: is permitted during the 24 month contract providing the new applicant meets Optus credit assessment criteria and both the current and new owner agree to the conditions on the Optus Change of Ownership form. Customers changing account ownership will not be eligible for Plan Scan.
Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time.

Offer available to credit approved new and recontracting customers who connect online to any 24 month consumer plan with handset or any 12 month BYO handset business plan.
