The 'yes' Business $49 Cap Plan

The 'yes' Business $49 Cap Plan is only available to eligible, credit-approved Optus small or medium business customers as defined by Optus. Excludes Optus Pre-Paid, Satellite, service provider or Corporate Mobile customers.

The 'yes' Business $49 Cap Plan is available online on a 24 month plan.

 

If you have committed to the 'yes' $49 Cap Plan with a 24 month term, the minimum total cost is $1029, plus the cost of your handset, if any.

On the 'yes' Business $49 Cap Plan you will pay the first $49 worth of national voice calls and text, International SMS, national video calls, National MMS, VoiceMail, PTT, national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers each billing period. You will pay a minimum amount of $49 per month even if you do not make $49 worth of calls after which standard rates of your plan will apply. For the part month, you will pay only part of the minimum spend and you will also receive only part of the "Optus2Anyone Value" and "Optus2Optus Value". You are not able to view your monthly usage prior to receiving your bill. Check with sales staff when you connect.

 

"Optus2Anyone Value": on the 'yes' Business $49 Cap Plan includes $330 worth of national voice calls and text, International SMS, national video calls, National MMS, PTT, national diversions and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers.

The "Optus2Anyone Value excludes 124 YES (937), International Voice including calls to fixed lines or GSM mobiles that switch/divert or re-route overseas, International Video, International Roaming, International MMS, International Video Calling, International diversions, Optus Zoo Browsing, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content Packs (unless specified in promotions), Mobile Internet usage, Mobile IM - Instant Messaging , TrueLocal usage, Directory Assistance, Premium SMS and MMS, VOIP services and usage, and 19XX services. If you exceed the $330 "Optus2Anyone Value" in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply for calls and messages to other Australian network customers and the Optus2Optus Value becomes available.

"Optus2Optus Value": Customers must utilise their "Optus2Anyone Value" before being able to access/use the "Optus2Optus Value". "Optus2Optus Value" includes national voice calls and text, national video calls, national MMS, PTT, national diversion calls and calls to 13/1300 and 1800 numbers made from one Optus Mobile Digital customer to another Optus Mobile Digital customer (on the Optus GSM network) or Selected Optus Fixed Line phones within Australia. If you exceed the $350 of Optus2Optus Value in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply. Selected Optus Fixed Line Phones include those Fixed Line Phones on the Optus Local Access Direct or Local Access Telephony networks. Excludes calls to Optus Local Access Resale customers. Standard rates of your plan apply for any call and message types that are not included as part of your plan's included value.

 

Upon connection to the plan customers will receive Unlimited Voicemail and will be able to choose 1 of the following 2 calling options: BusinessTime or SmartFleet.

Unlimited Voicemail: Applies to Voicemail Deposits and Retrievals, diversion charges still apply. Subject to Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy.

 

BusinessTime:

1. Upon request, you may choose to set up a BusinessTime (BT) service.

2. Only 3 BT numbers per 'yes' Business $49 Cap service can be nominated unless you combine your 'yes' Business Cap service with Optus Business Phone and/or DSL in which case you can nominate 5 numbers.

3. The nominated numbers must be eligible Optus GSM mobile(s) and/or fixed line(s), as defined by Optus and cannot be a 13, 1300, 1800 or 19XX numbers.

4. Calls must be made and received within Australia.

5. After the first 5 minutes of each call standard call rates apply.

6. You may change your nominated numbers no more than once per month.

7. Allow up to 48 hours for activation or changes to your BT service.

8. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies for BusinessTime usage and currently allows up to 1000 minutes per month.

 

SmartFleet:

If you choose this option you get free national calls, Standard SMS and MMS 24/7 to other mobiles on your Optus business account.

1.Applies to calls and Standard SMS and MMS made and received within Australia to another mobile number on the same customer account number, no connection fee applies.

2. Some exclusions apply, including calls to Optus Pre-Paid, Satellite, service provider customers, Video and International calls, Premium and Third Party SMS and MMS.

3. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies for SmartFleet usage and currently allows up to 1,000 minutes and 1,000 SMS or MMS per month. If no calling option is chosen then standard call rates will apply for all call types mentioned in these calling offers.

 

Termination: If you choose to pay the cost of your handset by the monthly handset payment option or have chosen a 24 month plan and you cancel your Optus Mobile Service or it is disconnected for any reason, or you switch carriers within your minimum term ("Termination") you will be required to pay the remaining amount on your phone, if any, plus applicable "Termination Fees". The Termination Fee is calculated in accordance to the following: for months 1-12 of a 24 month term, 100% of the Initial Termination Fee which is $590, for months 13-15, 80% of the initial Termination Fee, for months 16-18, 60% of the initial Termination Fee, for months 19-21, 40% of the initial Termination Fee, for months 22-24, 20% of the initial Termination Fee.

 

General T&Cs

International SMS: Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not. International SMS are charged at 50c per message.

Text Message (SMS): Message charges may be incurred for up to eight days from the original send date regardless of successful delivery or not.

Photo Message (MMS): 1. International MMS is charged at 75c per message sent, per recipient. 2. Optus Email MMS is charged at 25c per message sent (one message can be sent to multiple recipients.) 3. Charges apply regardless of successful delivery or not 4. If an MMS message is sent to a handset or network that is not Optus MMS enabled or compatible, the message recipient will be sent an SMS. You will still be charged for sending an MMS.

Optus Push to Talk (PTT): 1. To use PTT you must have an Optus compatible handset with the PTT service. 2. The PTT service is only available for use between customers on the Optus GSM network. 3. Message delivery success, message delivery time and call initiation time may be variable. 4. You will incur the daily fee in any 24 hour period, from 3.00am Sydney EST, that you initiate a PTT call on the service. You will be charged $0.95 per day. Optus Mobile Fair GoTM Policy applies up to 150 minutes per month.

Optus 3G or dual band service: Use of Optus 3G or dual band Service is only available with compatible handsets, an Optus 3G or dual band SIM card and you must be in a Optus 3G or dual band coverage area. The Optus dual band Network refers to our 2100/900 MHz network. To access the network you'll require a dual band handset or device. To access Optus 3G services, you will require a UMTS2100 band compatible handset and be within an Optus 3G coverage area. Outside these areas, service will fall back to our GSM/GPRS network. Speed will vary and many factors affect speeds including internet traffic, your equipment, location, software and the source of your download.

Optus Zoo & MyZooNow: Optus Zoo activation time may take up to 24 hours. Optus will endeavour to provide current, accurate information but makes no guarantee regarding the timely delivery, currency, or accuracy of any information provided to you as part of the Optus Zoo Update service. Content may be suspended, changed, or terminated without notice. Optus is not responsible for third party content, and sites may be subject to change. Additional charges may apply to access and subscription to third party content. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G or dual band and may not include all content and features of Internet websites.

Mobile IM: Customers will need to sign up and receive user credentials from MSN Messenger and/or Yahoo! Messenger on the Internet. Compatible handsets only. Optus Fair Mobile GoTM Policy applies on the pay as you go rate, up to 1MB per day, on the monthly option up to 10MB per month.

TrueLocal: Only available on XHTML supported handsets. Standard browsing and downloading charges will apply to access the service. Content is tailored for viewing on Optus 3G or dual band and may not include all content and features of Internet websites. When using TrueLocal your location is automatically accessed to allow provision of correct service information while you are using the service. Should you click on a banner advertisement; a response will be sent to you on an opt-in basis.

Changing Rate Plans: After the first 6 months of your contract, once a month you may change to another Optus Mobile Rate Plan with a lower monthly access fee at Optus' discretion for the remaining term of your contract. We may charge you a fee if you move from one pricing plan to another before the end of your minimum term. The amount of the fee will depend on various factors, including the terms of your current pricing plan, your call spend under your current pricing plan and the terms of the new pricing plan you are moving to. You should contact customer service for further information on the fee that may apply in your case. If you select a new rate plan/plan option any calls made from the date of the change, will be rated at the applicable rate of your new plan/plan option.

Change of ownership: Is permitted during the contract period providing the new applicant meets Optus credit assessment criteria and both the current and new owner agree to the conditions on the Optus Change of Ownership form. Customers changing account ownership will not be eligible for Plan Scan.

Prices quoted are GST inclusive, on your Tax Invoice call charges will be calculated excluding GST. GST will be calculated on the total amount of taxable supplies during the billing period and shown as a separate entry. Optus reserves the right to change prices including call rates and monthly access fees at any time.

Paper Invoice Fee: A $2.20 fee will apply if you choose to receive a paper bill posted to you. To avoid this fee you may change to an electronic bill sent to you by email by enrolling at www.optus.com.au/myoptusaccount. Electronic bills will be phased in over time and may not be available to you immediately. If Optus does not provide your bill in electronic format, we won't charge you the fee. Optus will write to you to advise you of the availability of electronic billing and before any fee is charged.

Credit Card Fee: If you use a credit, charge or debit card to pay your bill, a 1% fee (inc. GST) will be charged. This payment processing fee will be shown on your Optus bill after the payment has been processed. Exemptions may apply.

Single Bill: Optus may place your service on a single bill with one or more other services that you have with Optus. At point of sale you may choose to have all services billed individually. If you receive a single bill, afterwards it may not be possible to obtain individual bills for your services.

Terms and Conditions - 3 months free access

Offer available to credit approved new and recontracting customers who connect online to any 24 month consumer plan with handset or any 12 month BYO handset business plan. The 3 months free access fee will appear as a credit on your 4th, 5th and 6th bill. Credit will be equal to two months of the monthly access fee of the plan you initially connected on. Not applicable to handset payments. In order for you to receive this credit you must pay for your first 2 bills in full on your due date. Offer ends 31 August 2011, unless withdrawn or extended earlier.
